SZ offering free rides to tech fair
Date: 2012-11-15
HOLDERS of valid certificates and exhibitors can enjoy free rides to the China Hi-Tech Fair at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on city buses and Metro trains.
The 14th China Hi-Tech Fair will be held from Friday to Wednesday.
The city’s transport commission will open seven shuttle buses (G1-G7) to the exhibition center’s main venue. Fairgoers can also take 28 bus routes and Metro lines 1 and 4 to the main venue, the transport commission said Tuesday.
Drivers without pass certificates issued by police can park outside the exhibition center area, in lots including the Xiangmihu parking lot and Shenzhen Civic Center parking lot, or pay to take Metro trains or shuttle buses to the fair.
Police said all parking spaces at the exhibition center will be reserved for vehicles with certificates issued by police while the fair is under way.
Although police won’t impose traffic controls on roads around the exhibition center, police will impose fines on vehicles that illegally park on surrounding roads. Vehicles that park at the exhibition center without a certificate will be towed.(Source: Shenzhen Daily)
